DJ Demo aka Mark Giles is a DJ come producer originally from South East Kent. He owned Corrosive Recordings, Corrosive Music Publishing, Vital Element Recordings and released tracks on Universal Recordings. He also played regularly at Helter Skelter and co-owned the Voyager Records with Dave Pratley from the same mega rave organisation, His biggest release historically was the Essence E.P. Original 'Power of Love' 1994 that has now going into repress due to collectors demand for such a rare classic.

Demo made his DJ debut playing for a rave called "Brave New World" in Maidstone 1991 and has played his music all around the world during the years of great change in the hardcore scene. His sound is appreciated in UK primarily and sort after for its light and dark elements steeped in occult suggestion. He’s combined DJ’ing and producing in the early years of the breakbeat sound that has carried over for more that 20 years with over one hundred vinyl releases to his name and three mix albums in many different genres he’s sure to move the crowd. For the Music First Festival Demo will be playing a historical set of hardcore jungle techno from 91-95 and will be digging deep for the rare vinyl classics that many DJ’s would love to adorn there own record collections, all in all its a rare treat to have him play for us in the beautiful south coast of England.
